What it does
One library for everything your teams have learned
Survey results sit in one place, market reports in another, and the best insight from a partner meeting lives in someone’s head. InsightEdge gathers it, keeps it in order and puts it to work, so insight builds on itself instead of being lost.
Collect
Bring in reports, recordings, decks, datasets, survey exports, transcripts and subscription feeds from SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, or drop files straight in.
Curate
AI proposes tags against one taxonomy of markets, audiences, places, seasons and outcomes. A knowledge steward confirms them before anything is published.
Connect
Ask in plain English and get one answer drawn from every relevant source, old and new, shaped for the person asking.
Create
Turn an answer into a one-pager, an insight pack, slides with speaker notes or an external evidence pack, all following one storytelling standard.
Reuse
Older studies stay findable and cited instead of being redone. Gaps, duplicates and ageing insight are flagged, and every decision an answer informed is logged.
The library
Every format, one place, with a card for each
Videos play with their transcript and key moments. PDFs open at the cited page. Decks open at the cited slide, and datasets at the cited table. Each kind of file has a card that shows what it is at a glance.
Every card opens its own viewer. Recordings play with a synced transcript, and documents open at the cited page, slide or table.
How it works
How an answer comes together
Every answer follows the same four steps, so people can see where each statement came from and who has checked it.
Ask
Type a question the way you would ask a colleague, or pick one suggested for your role.
Gather
Rule checks run first. Only sources you are allowed to see are searched, and each one’s review status and sharing rules are checked.
Answer in three layers
Evidence, interpretation and recommendations arrive separately, with every claim cited to a page, table or moment.
Sign off and share
Reading an answer needs no sign-off. Recommendations and external material need a named knowledge steward first.
Works with the tools your teams already use
Hosted in a dedicated environment in Microsoft Azure UK South and connected to your Microsoft 365. Solid items arrive in Phases 1 and 2; dashed items follow in Phases 3 and 4.

Governance
Governed from the first question to the final slide
AI makes insight faster to reach. Governance makes it safe to use. These controls are part of every answer, not an afterthought.
Source status
Every source is assured, an approved third-party source or not yet reviewed. Unreviewed material stays out of answers unless someone chooses to include it.
Sharing rules
Sources and outputs are marked internal only or external-ready, so licensed data never slips into an agency brief.
Human sign-off
Outputs are checked according to how they will be used. Recommendations and external packs need named sign-off, and external export stays blocked until then.
Guardrails
Requests for personal data are refused and logged. Sensitive topics are flagged for a steward to check.
Separation of duties
Administrators configure access and guardrails. Stewards approve and publish. Neither can do the other’s job.
A full audit trail
Every answer keeps a record of the question, the sources retrieved and used, the model version and any sign-off.
Hosted only in the UK, in an environment dedicated to VisitScotland. Your content and prompts are never used to train any AI model.
Trace any claim back to its source

Who it’s for
Five roles to start, each with its own workspace
Each role gets its own home page, menu and answer view. The evidence stays the same, but the emphasis, detail and sharing rules change. Roles go live in the order of the implementation plan.
See it through your colleagues’ eyes
Choose a role, ask a question, upload a file and follow the answer all the way to a signed-off brief. The built-in demo guide ticks off each step.
